(1). How Many Amps of Charger Do I Need to Charge a 12 V Lithium Battery?

We recommend sizing the charger to around 25% of the battery's capacity (ah = amp-hour capacity). A 112V 100Ah battery will require about a 25 amp 12v charger. Larger chargers can shorten charging times but may shorten battery life finally.

(2). How Do I Store LiFePO4 Batteries?

Keep the battery at approximately 50% capacity before storage.

Remove the battery and store it separately.

Store batteries between 5 °C and 20 °C (41 °F and 68 °F).

(3). How Long Does It Take to Charge an 80Ah Battery?

If your charger is 10 amps, then 80Ah / 10 Ah = 8 hours. So it usually takes around 9 hours, depending on battery condition

(4). Does a Higher Capacity Battery Mean More Power?

Higher amp-hours mean longer battery runtimes. Higher voltage means more power from the battery.

(5). Will a Higher Battery Hurt My Alternator?

The alternator and battery need to be precisely matched to the load power. So a mismatched battery and alternator combination can cause the alternator to overheat and shorten its life.

A 12V 20Ah solar panel will take 5 hours to charge a 100Ah battery.
