(1).Is It OK to Leave the 48v LiFePO4 Golf Cart Battery on the Charger?
It is bad to have a LiFePO4 battery plugged into the mains. When you charge the battery, when you charge to 100%, do not plug it in. There is a safety circuit to protect the battery from overcharging and prevent it from exploding.
(2). Can a 48v Lithium Golf Cart Battery Be Fully Discharged?
Avoid fully discharging Lithium-ion batteries.
If the discharge voltage of a lithium-ion battery falls below 2.5 volts per cell, the safety circuit built into the battery will open and the battery will appear to be dead, which is very damaging to the battery.
